Banner Design

Because I had already created the visual system for these assets in a previous project, it was much easier to begin creating them right away. My typefaces and imagery had already been selected, so the main things I had to focus on when creating these assets were their composition and the information that they would contain.
The first asset I created was the poster, as it contained more information than the others. Using the same visual system that I had created earlier, I focused on high contrast and the use of my main colour. The front of the poster contains the Wine Stomp logo, below it, viewers can find a short paragraph describing the event. The event location and date, alongside a website, can be located at the bottom of the page.
On the rear of the poster, a simple list indicates the events that will be taking place throughout the event. Speakers who will be talking are bolded. The logo is once again seen to the right, and event sponsors are placed at the bottom of the page.

Lanyard "Volunteer" Front
Alongside the poster, I created lanyards that certain attendees, such as speakers and volunteers, could wear so they could be identified. Unlike the poster, the lanyards were a much smaller scale while still containing important information like the wearer's name, role, and title. For both variations of the lanyard, the back design remains the same where it contains the event name, location, date and website address.
I also created a sticker series. These stickers would be handed out at the event and allow visitors to interact with the visual system directly. The stickers rely on imagery, primarily using the Wine Stomp logo itself. Variations include text, taglines and altered logos.

Outdoor Banner
The outdoor banner design is simple in its design as it needs to be legible at further distances. The logo is scaled up and used in a vertical composition to better fit the proportions of the banner design. The name of the event, place, and date are listed on the banner. For this design I rely heavily on high contrast to create a design that is eye-catching from a distance.
